Top Dog Boarding Kennels Stamford Birdge (York)

Theres been a few posts recently from people heading out on holiday and understandably nervous about leaving their dogs at home, especially if they are using as kennel. We have just got back from 12 days in France and unfortunately we have nobody that can look after Muggle while she's away. We use Top Dog boarding kennels just outside York and cant recommend it highly enough. We put her in for 3 days about 6 weeks before we went away to get her used to it and then for the time we were in France. She seems to love it there and rightly so! She is walked up to 6 times a day in their enclosed paddock, played with by the staff around the clock, they continue the training you are doing and if your boy or girl is on a particular diet they follow it to the letter. It's a but pricey compared to most kennels but it really is the only kennel I'd leave Muggle in. The only downside is they walk and play with the dog s individually so thery dont get any play with other dogs but its a small price to pay for the positives. Another selling point is that they seem to really love Staffies! Martin (the owners) brother has staffies and one of the girls that works their has one so they have a real understanding on the breed.
