Where I am it just felt like a train going by in the backyard but it was worse in some areas.

Oh it's fine guys. LOL to be honest I didn't even think earthquake. I was playing a video game and I am unresponsive when I do so. Laughing The dogs realized what what going on before I did. I saw them jump off the couch and run to my bedroom where the crates are. I could have sworn that I heard Oli say RETREAT LOLA! Laughing My OH was at college and texted me to say they evacuated the school and the power was out but I was busy with a 15 kill streak on Black ops. Laughing

It was a little creepy after I realized what had happened. Not the first one but sitting there wondering if another one (maybe worse) would happen.

So far all I know is that there are some injuries but no deaths. They are shutting down a few nuclear power plants. But thankfully no deaths.

Wow, that's quite the earthquake Surprised I heard about it on one of our global news sites.

I've had my fair share of somewhat dangerous weather. We get tropical cyclones like cyclone Hamish and severe thunderstorms here from time to time (thought cyclones not that often) Straight Face

We didn't feel it up here, but a lot of my Jersey friends felt it pretty significantly. The closest I've come to an earthquake is when we woke up to a loud bang and our building shaking at 8am last year. I thought it was an earthquake. Turns out a drugged out carjacker crashed a cement truck into out building: http://www.wcsh6.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=127688&catid=2 http://www.pressherald.com/news/man-faces-oui-other-counts-in-downtown-collision_2010-09-13.html Bowie, Ziggy and I still have a fear of loud noises and screeching breaks. Saxon luckily wasn't with us yet and the boyfriend got over it pretty quickly.

LOL Cat. I have had something similar happen to me as well. I guess I was lucky today. Could have been a lot worse I guess.
