Earthquake
Just had a small earthquake here and Suki slept right through it She used to bark and growl and try to eat the floor. It would take her forever to calm down. She then got a little used to it and would just bark for like 5 minutes or so. Hopefully they just don't bother her anymore

Re: Earthquake
I take it you get quite a few there? She probably thinks it's old hat, now!
We had a small one here last year - woke me & oh up at about 3am. It was quite a big one for this area & the room shook.
Dempsey slept right through it! Ah well, no sense no feeling!

We've had over 1,000 including the aftershocks since March

Re: Earthquake
Thats an abnormal number caused by the 9.0 quake in March. The tectonic plates shifted to such a large degree and are resettleing causing a rise in the number of quakes and aftershocks.
Wow that sounds a bit nerdy

Re: Earthquake
Wow that's a fair number of earthquakes. We had one here a few years back, I slept through the whole thing. The only one in the house to feel it was my sister and nobody believed her until we saw in on the telly!

Re: Earthquake
I've never felt one, but apparently there was one around her the other year, mustn't have come my way. sounds scary, but I imagine it would be an interesting experience to have the earth shuddering beneath you!

Re: Earthquake
That is a ton. Here in CA we get a lot of smaller ones but nowhere near 1000 and I don't live near a fault line so I only have ever felt a few (like '89).

I'd say so. Hope they slow down and get much smaller.
