Re: english cross american ??
there no breed call english staffie, there an staffordshire bull terrier or an american staffordshire terrier
Re: english cross american ??
It will probably look in between an American Staffordshire Terrier and a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Perhaps it will be a leggier SBT, or a stubbier AmStaff. The main thing to remember is that it will be a mixed breed dog (from an unethical backyard breeder) and not worth thousands and thousands.

As much as there is no official 'english stafford' thats what the people who live outside of England are evidently going to call it Steve

Re: english cross american ??
On the website facebook page from the uk & australia i keep getting stupid post and stats about dog attacks i cant remember what the stat 100% was but it was like this
this is the main reason i say theres no breed called english staffy, it just confuses people and thats not what we want for the breed.
did you know this stat about dogs attacks
Staffordshire bull terrier attack 1 person a year
American Staffordshire Terrier attack 20 people a year
English Staffordshire bull terrier attack 100 people a year
this is the main reason i say theres no breed called english staffy, it just confuses people and thats not what we want for the breed.

Re: english cross american ??
Bane is supposedly an American cross English. He's still a pup but has a noticeably longer snout, neck and legs than your traditional 'English'... How I picture them when someone says English, I think small and broad, American as a bigger version with longer features but still the bulk and I too heard that an Irish was just a kind of code name given to pitbulls.
But then my mum has a Staff and hes quite tall, I met a little female the other day who was much smaller than I would ever think a Staff to be and theres another female who comes to the park and she has very long legs...i guess they all vary in size to some degree.
