Suki met a 5 year old Great Dane the other day. She hasn't met that many dogs bigger than her and he was definately the bigger dog Laughing Sadly I was at work but I did get a play by play from the better half. It's very rare in Japan for people to have very large dogs so I am very sad that I missed this. Suki was very calm and respectfull around him and seemed rather shy so I don't have any action shots Surprised All the other dogs seemed a bit reluctant as well. But since I Love Struck all the large breeds I figured I would share.

Yeah the better half said he was trying to play but that Suki looked very unsure. Maybe she thought he was a horse rolling on the floor She's still just a pup though and getting more confident every day.

I wish that she would have played. It would do her good to lose a wrestling match Laughing but no such luck I guess she knew she was outmatched. rolling on the floor

Yes she is. We thought we were getting an SBT but I guess there was a translatation issue. Either way we love us some Suki Laughing Although she doesn't make for a very good lap dog.

If I were in Poland, the country I originally come from, I would probably have an Amstaff as they're not banned there and Staffies are not that popular (I don't think I've ever seen any!) . I've always loved these dogs - few of my neighbours had them. First time I came to the UK few years ago I was wondering why all these Amstaffs are so small here?! Big Grin Big Grin

fabulous pics...... it's always nice to be able to socialise our dogs with a variety of shapes, sizes and breeds and this was definitely one of those times.

LOL.....I love the markings on the Dane and Suki is as gorgeous as always
