The great Suki escape
We don't normally let Suki off lead unless we are in a safe and enclosed area like the dog park. At the park she has a friend the always wears darker clothes and a dark U of H hat. She will run after him barking a growling all the while wagging her tail. Today there was someone in similar clothing that approached while she was wrestling with one of her friends. Normally I am able to either recogize the person or able to catch her before she gets too far but today she got away. The person she was running after wasn't someone we knew and was very much scared of Suki.
I'd be scared as well if a strange AmStaff raced at me barking so I felt very bad for him espically since she had a good 5 second head start on me. The poor guy tried hiding behind a tree and it took me about 10 seconds to catch up. I was shouting the whole way "I'm so sorry she is friendly don't worry" I think that was what I was saying since my Japanese isn't the best Suki didn't know what the fuss was about and was just wagging her tail and barking at the guy Once I got there I was able to introduce them properly and Suki gave him a bunch of big kisses

Oh dear they do like to embarrass us. Glad the man wasn't angry though, and good of him to let her give him kisses

Re: The great Suki escape
I was doing a land navigation course at night and was stuck up there for over an hour. I had watched the movie Hanibal shortly before and there was a very disturbing scene with boars in it. I screamed like a little girl
