I Have a Good Dog :)

I just wanted to say that I am very proud of Saxon. Today on a walk a little girl, maybe 4 or 5, walked right up to Saxon and started petting him without even asking. My sweet boy just stood perfectly still and let her pet him. Then when she put her hand in front of his nose, he licked it gently. She giggled, thanked me and ran off to find her mom.

A minute later we were home and my neighbor was walking in at the same time. Saxon got all excited and jumped up on him the way he always does (which my neighbor encourages).

He knows when it's appropriate to jump up and when it isn't. He never jumps up on strangers any more, only people he knows well.

well that was a nice wee story well done saxon good boy. one happy little girl that isnt put off by dogs good to hear. your boy deserves a good treat and a lovely cuddle not just a pat on the back for that one.
