Can't sleep anymore!

I've got too much going on in my head, I'm turning nocturnal!

Can anyone recommend anything to help?? I have tried a wide variety of methods e.g music and herbal tabs etc.

Nothing is working at the minute, I'm considering alcoholism!!!

do you have a bike? if you do go on a long bike ride worked for me

I've been to my mums today, took Missy and my lad walked down then took Missy and George on a massive walk, then helped my mum move half her house around =( cant go out at night cos my boys in bed x

Alcohol! Its always helped me sleep, not the best thing but hay! Hope your ok hun, try to get some sleep x

Were supposed to be moving soon, that's stressing me, cause we haven't had a definite yes or no.
How much its gonna rush me to do the place up that were moving.
My lads back at school soon, he had a bit of trouble at the end of last year with a kid in his class( he's only 5)
I'm starting college, new people to meet and try and be nice too! lol

Changes/moving are hard, but you'll be fine. Always look at what you have, rather than whats changing, or what you haven't.

You'll settle into a new routin, in a new place, quicker than you know (I hope).

I hope so too, im terrible ive made my mind up about moving i want to go, but i want to go now. waiting is horrible!! i want to get excited about how i can decorate etc, my OH wont speak to me if i mention it haha hes sick of hearing about it. probs cos he's knows hes got to do all the work, poor bloke!

2 bottles, i'd spew, im not a massive wine drinker, one bottle would knock me out loool.

I used to be a night owl so much stuff going on in my head so i give up trying to sleep, I stayed awake for a couple of days and i fought it until a decent bedtime, soon as my head hit the pillow i was gone. As for getting things out of your head so your less stressed venting always helps! whether its to yourself, a diary or mates thats what their for after all....

Alchol is an okay soultion When I am under alot of stress I sometimes have problems falling asleep. Usually because I will lay in bed thinking. I try to right everything down and make a plan before I go to bed and use only soft light. This way my mind can be at ease when I try to sleep.

I like writing lists, i think its a form of OCD! i couldnt stay up all night then all day, ive got a hperactive 5 year old and its the school hols lol, i can live on 3 hours of sleep tho, that what i got last night exx

I've done that for LONG periods of time. The body really does need sleep in order to function properly though.Lack of sleep results in the same negative effects as being drunk I don't think lists are OCD and there is nothing at all wrong with being organized and thinking things through.

Alcohol, letters, cleaning, lists, washing, sheet changing, on and on..................




the problem is you get overtired, which makes you ill. Try not to stress too much, I take Moo out, be it 5 in the morning, it helps. I know having kids is harder. You gotta sleep though Xx

My whole adult life I have battled insomnia. I have one of those minds that never stops coupled with anxiety problems. I get anxiety attacks so bad sometimes the only cure is to go out for a jog no matter what time it is and that normally helps. I take hydroxyzine (generic for I don't know what) and 1/4 bottle of vodka and I am good as new. The pill they gave me is for anxiety and insomnia. Yay!! My two biggest problems...

After all this talk I am now off sick today cause I haven't been sleeping! Grrr!
