Seroma after surgery?
Hi guys!
Our little ruby was speyed just over a week ago, and has now developed a seroma. The vet was able to syringe out some fluid today but has said if it doesn't go down over the next 7 days she'll have to have another op
Really want to avoid surgery if possible - have any of your little ones ever had a seroma? If so how long till it fixed itself and does anyone know of any tips to help the process?
Thank you... Just keen to avoid another general anaesthetic for Rubes

Sorry, I've not experienced that, but I'm told that it often goes away once it's been syringed out. Hope she doesn't have to have more surgery!

Fingers crossed for Ruby that it does go down within the 7 days so that she doesn't have to have another op.

Re: Seroma after surgery?
awww thanks guys!
poor little rubes has not had a good run - seems that everything that can go wrong (medically) with this puppy does! amazes me though cos no matter how uncomfortable she is she is always such a happy little thing... love her to bits
good news is that it has come down a little bit today so fingers crossed it will keep going away... i just cant stand to see her all groggy again after the anaesthetic, broke my heart last time lol (yes i'm a sook )
