Proud of our gorgeous boy

Maybe it's nothing special but recently we get more and more positive comments about Mambo - so many people we don't even know just stop to stroke him, to tell us how beautiful he is and tell all their stories about their dogs etc etc Smile

It's now almost certain that when I'm waiting with Mambo by the Waitrose or Iceland or any other shop for my OH, we will chat with at least 2 or 3 people that will come over because of Mambo. And these people are very often elderly ladies, mothers with children, shop staff etc (so no chavs or anything like that Big Grin

).
We are also very often told that Mambo's got really big head (I don't see this ! Tongues

)and that he looks like he's a boxer cross (which he may be , who knows...).

Anyways, I am so happy about this because I feel that all Staffies are 'on a mission' to show people that the breed is amazing, safe and just as loveable (if not more!) as any other breed! and Mambo is doing his job rally well, without much effort from his side really Tongues

, just with his looks and good behaviour Smile

. The pub I go to in the afternoons is a hot place for eating so we are forever meeting 'older' people and the fuss they make of her is unreal. Had one old bird tell me that the reason she lies like a 'frog' means she has 'good pedegree', bless her! Who was I to argue Laughing

today Maxi was refusing to walk so I was carrying her Rolling Eyes

and this girl ask to stroke Maxi and her brother told me that if I carry her around that I'd get la*d Laughing

he was a chav but I had a 10 minuet conversation with this block about staffies and there bad rep and how there really acctually amazing dogs and he said he may look into getting one Big Grin
