R.I.P KRUGA ...

This is Kruga but to us he was our 'Big Guy'.. We got him as an 8wk old pup who just melted us from day one .. He had such a impressive KC name to live upto 'Dark King Ruler' but between you & me he was just a massive big softy . Sadly i didn't recognise his coughing as a symptom of a very aggresive form of Lymphoma on his tongue.. He had a scope done at the vets who sadly found a golf ball sized tumour on the beginning of his tongue, which meant it couldn't be removed and it was also incredibly aggresive and far too advanced for chemo or steriods, they also found he had Lymphoma on his heart & lungs..which meant his outlook was very very poor and he would be with us days/weeks rather than months. I also had the horrible task of telling me 20yr old son who was travelling around Australia at the time, that his mate was gunna be leaving us sooner rather than later. He flew straight home to make sure he got to see Kruga and spend some quality time with him ( it took him a day and a half to get home) .. Sadly my son (jay) only managed to share 3 extra special days with Kruga before poor Kruga took a turn for the worse and we called the vet out to set him free.. That was in Sept of last yr and he was only 6 yrs old but i still miss him SOOOOOO much and know that atleast at Rainbow Bridge he is free from his cancer and running free .. His ashes casket sit,s on the fire surround were he can keep a check on everyone coming and going x x x x x x x x x

He wanted a permanent reminder of his mate and my son wanted to make sure he took him everywhere with him when he travels around x x x x

We miss you Big Guy, but we will all be together 1 day x x x

You will never be forgotten or replaced, you took a piece of our hearts with you when you left us at the young age of 6yrs old..But we could see you had no more fight to give and it wasn't gunna be a fight you were ever gunna win so we let you go before you lost your dignity .. So true Janey.. he was a very special boy... And i forgot to point out about the tattoo, see the image below Kruga's face.. well that was Kruga's favourite toy, it was a fluffy monkey that he would carry round everywhere and even sit next to his water bowl when he was having a drink then pick his monkey back up and stroll of into the garden or go and curl up on his extra large bed with his monkey.. Can you see the tattooist do it exactly as he left it .. minus a leg haha !!.. Kruga got slightly rough with it and the leg needed amputated ... xx

so sorry to hear about darling Kruga... I know only too well the pain of losing a most precious fur baby.....he is a lucky boy he had such a wonderful and happy life and was loved so much..... RIP Kruga
