Ledgers new home :)

Well he is finally asleep........

11.30am I took delivery of my rescue staffy Ledger 20 seconds later the first tennis ball was destroyed and despite the initial anxiety he had from the dogs trust staff leaving as the day has gone on he seems to be settling. A couple of short walks around the park at the back of my house and a trip in the car to pets at home and I was wiped out (finished a night shift at 7am) so I curled up on the sofa shortly followed by a cold nose nudging my ear and one staffy lay out down by my side with his head on my shoulder ready to snooze for a couple of hours

We have now both had tea and been for a long walk and he is flaked out on the sofa beside me and I'm not going to be far behind him

Tomorrow is a walk up to register at the vets then a drive out to meet some friends dogs and then introduce him to my parents house (he has met their dog already) its all so exciting for us both
