milly and her parents

Hi
This may sound silly but should milly have a look of her parents.The thing is we went to look at milly when she was 2 weeks old and we saw both parents her dad is a blue hes very stocky with lots of muscle he is a short legged Staffy.Her mum is brindle and a small patch of white they are georgeous staffs.The thing is milly is white with Black patches with a small amout of brindle mixed in with the black.The only thing milly has got of her parents is The almond shaped eyes like her mum.We are going to put some photos on of milly how she looks now and when she was around 4 weeks old.The breeder sent us the 4 week old photos of her He kept us updated on her progress Your Hearts will melt when you view them of her especially when she was 4 weeks

i think some dog show less of there mum and dad then others as long as you trust the breeder i should not worry

my sister girl came from a mum thats blue and dad thats black and she is brown with blue line on back off the other pups are black

Both Violets parents were brindle, but Violet is red with a couple of tiny white bits and a black muzzle. It looks like she is developing markings though - some stripes down her back in a darker red than the rest of her.

Genetics is a strange thing! The only time you can really guess accurately at colour is if you have two blacks as black is a dominant gene you would most likely get black puppies. So no, in answer to your question they dont always take on the colours of their parents.

Vinnie is the spitting image of his mom but resembles his dad in characteristics .. where as skye dont really resemble either of her parents too much but there are slight similarities .. skye was the only female of the litter and she took on both her parents eye patches haha! her dad had a left one her mom had a right one so skye has 2 lmao!

you cant really go off parents colourings kaisers mum and dad were brindle 2 of the pups were red with bits of white kaiser was black and tan and there others were black brindles

gentics make my head hurt

Milly was out of a litter of seven.I was very suprised when the breeder told us she had seven she was only a small dog.And was only a year old herself she also didnt have them naturally she had a ceaserian section.unfortunley two of the pups were stillborns both were girls The four boys had the dads build but had the mums brindle.milly was The odd one being white and black patches im wanting to post photos of her and her brothers so you can view Them im waiting for my son to put them on the memory stick for me so that i can post them for all to see.Also i Am suprised she didnt have blue ive been told the blue carry a strong bloodline
