Poor dog!
Posted from another forum, had to share this
What do you see in this video?
This one?
How about this one?
Evaluation comments of Katherine Haupt, VDM:
Dog 206 in cage 33 brown female with white markings Dusty
Wiggled at approach, stare and squat. Bit hand when petted and when eating.
avoided witch
Snarled at doll
jumped but no aggression to male or female dogs
The results of the testing indicates that [...] one female Dusty 206 who snarled at the doll should be humanely euthanized because of their lack of any useful purpose and the public safety threat they pose.
Katherine Albro Houpt VMD PhD
Professor emeritus
Cornell University
Do you see what she sees, or what I see--a great family pet who just needs to be placed with an active family willing to do some training?
Based on Dr. Haupt's recommendation per this "temperament test," a court has ordered Dusty's death.
Now i don't see anything wrong with this dog, she needs a bit of training but that's it poor girl!
Edit
have found theres a petition for her!

Re: Poor dog!
Its a very sad state of affair and I think it's less commen in America than it is here. So many being pts, not even because of behaviour (not that there was anything wrong in those clips) but because there is know room to keep them

Wow. That dog looks like a good samaritan to me. Happy and tail wagging the whole time. Gorgeous pup. Why would anyone pts that girl?

Re: Poor dog!
OMG....my daughter and I both watched the vids and thought how sweet, loving and happy this dog was. I would happily have it in my care based on those vids.

Re: Poor dog!
Signed and linked it to facebook.Unreal that they are going to put such a good dog to sleep. That Dr. needs to have her degree revoked. The testing seemed stupid to me a 3 ft doll is not a child and the dog knows that.It did freak the dog out a little and she still behaved.I really think there are very few cases when a dog cannot be rehabilitated and allowed to live a productive life.It seems that the people involved in this always want to take the easy way out and put the dog down.Imagine if we had the same outlook in our jails and prisons.

Re: Poor dog!
this is so upsetting, that dog was acting the way Russell would... even the way my labrador charlie would in that situation, just excited interested and happy to be there. that is pure discrimination against the breed.

Re: Poor dog!
I signed it, it's really sad as i see a lot of harvey in her the over excitedness and he would fail for sure, and i know full well he is no 'public threat'!
