6 weeks holidays
6 weeks, I mean come on, 6 sodding weeks of kids running around screaming and stuff will do my nut in .
I mean don't get me wrong, I love kids, I have 3 girls that have grown and flown now.
When they were little and had 6 weeks off school I made sure they were occupied and not running the streets, you know clubs, outings, stuff to do in the house when it rained etc etc.
But today's kids, I know not all kids, but the little buggers round here are just let to climb the garages and sheds, and generally just run a muck terrorising the neighbourhood.
Is it just me and I'm getting old or am I not the only one that dreads the 6 weeks holidays.

Re: 6 weeks holidays
They ruin my nice quiet walks, and invade the nice quiet pub gardens with there screaming, don't get much of a problem with the teens, its the 6-7 years olds There is a reason I don't have kids!!!!!

No, my son's 18 (still seems odd offering him a drink!) and my daughter's 17!
*mental note - must stop calling them kids!*

My son's pretty laid back. He gets his results on 18th August & if they're not good enough he'll stay on & re-take. The tutors have already said that they'd be happy for him to.
