Wet food
Billy has a raw food diet, we are away for 3 weeks soon and he is staying with a dog sitter.
He is very fussy with his food and so we have bought some dry kibble, JWB to give to the guy as well just in case he wont eat his raw, and because i would like to cover any problems, i was going to put a few tins of wet in there as well. I know it is not good for them but it is only in case of an emergency, wheich one is one of the better ones.
I worry when he is away from home and missing us he might go off his food a bit (i know i will)

Have a great time, I'm sure Billy will be spoilt rotten! Wet food won't hurt him in the short term!

Re: Wet food
Just look for ones without added sugar and with as little carbohydrate as possible. For a few tins it won't really matter much IMO. Plus - most wet food isn't half as bad as its reputation. It's never worse quality than kibble, mostly better.. The only downside with canned food (unless they've crammed it full of sugar and grains) is the lack of chewing, but it's not worse for their teeth than kibble and the higher water content is easier on their bodies.
Not sure what your stores carry - do you get Bozita? It's very good (way better than any kibble) and I know Zooplus carries it. (It's free from soya, grains, sugar, meat meal and preservatives.) You can see it here: http://www.zooplus.com/shop/dogs/canned_dog_food/bozita/bozita_tetre_cartons/179751

Re: Wet food
if u look on the dry food recommendations then i think alot of those will do quite a good wet food as well, feeding guidelines should be on the packet x
