Was he the one that started all of the arguments about breed history?

Oh, Shane............never a dull moment!

He's been on here under several different usernames but has given himself away by silly little things. He got banned for being rude & abusive, and then proceeded to bombard Steve with really nasty emails & has made it his life's ambition to disrupt the forum. He'll latch on to anything that he thinks he can turn into an argument, and then when it doesn't go his way he becomes petty & nasty. He said some really horrible things about Janey & Moo a little while back.
How sad is he?

I daresay he'll join again & see this thread. It'd be interesting to hear what he thought of it!

Re: annual staffy meetings
So that clears up the Shane mystery. I like the meet up idea but unless there is someone else on here in Japan that I don't know about

Ahah. Sounds like someone needs a life. It's really too bad that there are so many negative people on this planet!!

Re: annual staffy meetings
haha, would be great but us Aussies would have a few days travelling to all meet up together.
I'm on a parrot/bird forum and they all often meet in Melbourne with their parrots at a pet store/cafe. I haven't been able to go but its always a good day apparently!
-staffy play date would be more fun!

Pub in a HUGE field you mean!!
I have said so many times that I would absolutely love a forum meet up but we're all so spread out, even in the UK. Getting a place that would be do-able for all of us that wanted to meet would be almost impossible

There is a perfect place near me, so too far for most. A camp site (that you privatly hire through the rangers) in a huge woods, surrounded by fields so really dog friendly with pubs within 20 mins not sure they would be keen on numerous Staffies taking over, but I do know the owners (who have 2 themselves) and the pubs a b&b too!!!

Thats sounds rather awesome if it could be arranged! suppose it depends how far people would travel seeing as though we are all so spread out!

Re: annual staffy meetings
Yer other forums i''m on have meet ups i have been to one, and it was literally organised in a function room above a pup, that one was down in Leicester so still a distance from us but people drove from all over the country to go to them, so i think it's do able!

Yours is easy to sort out just arrange a quiet 5 mins with yourself and let us know if its a success and if it is we'll arrange one for every country

Re: annual staffy meetings
On a serious note it would be impossible to bring the dogs along to a mass gathering of people

Re: annual staffy meetings
Hmmmm, how far away from Plymouth is Surrey? I'd be up for it!
Marty, why couldn't we bring our dogs?? I'm afraid I have a 'Love me, love my dog' rule. Where I go, Charlie goes

Re: annual staffy meetings
that's ok but if 30 people turn up with 30 dogs it would be mayhem and no camp site would allow it

Re: annual staffy meetings
We need a new meeting place idea then, it just wouldnt be the same without the dogs

Re: annual staffy meetings
Its a private campsite, there would be know one else there but us, and to be honest I doubt many would go, about 10 - 15 would be great but holds more!

For a weekend I think it would be great!

At least you're sensible and responsible about it - some people would just do it anyway.
