Soft tissue Sarcoma
Hi I've been searching the web for two weeks now and I have found your sight. I have the most wonderful Bull Terrier Staffy X whom I love more than life, she has just been diagnosed with Soft Tissue Sarcoma and they have operated once it has since grown back rather rapidly, and I have been told to take her home and enjoy her if she is still here at Xmas I will be really really lucky. My problem is that apart from the tumor she is an extremely healthy 11 year old that acts like she is 2!!! Even the vet can't believe how old she is! There is no Radiation Therapy where i live
does anyone know if there is any other treatment other than radiation or amputation( impossible for her as she is a big stocky girl!!!) I am willing to try just about anything it is killing me knowing that my baby is not going to be here !!

Re: Soft tissue Sarcoma
Hi & welcome.
What a shame you're having to go through this. Where is the tumour? Is it operable? If it's on a leg and the vet thinks that amputation will work, and that it hasn't spread to other organs, then go for it! A dog can adapt to three legs very easily.
