Bringing home a 8 week old baby
Hi all,
Im a new poster but avid reader. Hoping to get some advice on early pottie training.
Im getting a Staff 2 months old. He isn't born yet haha have registered and reserved him for when he is or maybe when she is.
I have a question that's been bothering me. That is when i bring the pup home. I want to start pottie training immediately but the caveat is that i have to wait until he has all his vaccines which will be 2 more months. Not allowed to take him out until he gets all the treatments he/she needs so they don't catch something outside. Since i don't have a garden i know i cant take him outside.
So all these dog trainers say you should take them out immediately but none of them mention if you have a flat. I know there are floor nappies available but wont that give them a bad habit and set our training back a bit if i teach him or her to do the business on the nappy?
So thanks in advance sorry for the loaded question. Been a long day lol.
