Raw Food,
Hi
We have had Nero on a raw food diet for 6 weeks now and all appeared to be fine but he has started biting his tail and feet.I took him to the vets who eliminated anal glands and suggested he may have an allergy to something within his raw food diet. She suggested changing his diet to a complete puppy food diet which is wot I thought I was feeding him.Any thoughts ?.

Re: Raw Food,
I’m following this thread and find it surprising how chicken can be suspected for so many allergy issues yet get the impression that they put it almost everywhere !
When OP mentions biting the tail, that isn’t turning in circles and chasing it, by any chance ? If so, that could be due to stress or over excitement

Re: Raw Food,
He is biting his feet, tail and occasionally chasing his tail.
The Vet advised us again to take him off the raw food diet but his coat is in excellent shape and he eats everything.
We are going to remove poultry from his diet and see wot happens.
