Took Nifty to the vet as she had a swelling between two toes even though she was not lame on it.

Vet thinks it’s an insect bite and nothing serious  whew!  but received an anti inflammatory and antibiotic jab, just in case. I also have cream to put on twice a day so got to get her inflatable vet collar out  worried

We discussed allergies as Nifty has always been fragile when it comes to her ears and she can be itchy.
I told vet I was stopping chicken in her food and we discussed Nifty’s weight problem.
Basically it would do her good to lose 2 kgs  Straight Face  despite her being very stocky, especially for a female. But how do you activate a true couch lover ?
Oh, and he recommended that I show her to a doggie osteopath too.

This is going to be our summer project.

Well to be honest, a little less coverage would not do any harm Blushing

Nifty weighs 19.5 kgs for 38cms, Opium weighs 15.5kgs for 38cms.
But they don’t have the same build, nor personality, nor energy levels ! Laughing
Nifty has a very wide chest and she is a stocky girl but yeah, she likes to be as economical as possible in her energy consumption

6 weeks later and Nifty has lost a kilo ! (I wish I could match her proportionate weight loss Laughing )
Different vet said minus 500g would be good but that she was an acceptable weight.
