So Cross Empty So Cross

Post by Jenc Tue Aug 06 2019, 07:41

We have a family that moved in up our lane earlier this year, they have a cockerpoo. I often see it loose in the lane which is bad enough, our lane is a dead end thankfully.

However I was working a garden near our school last week & saw him charging down the close crossing the road which thankfully was quieter as schools out. You can't approach him, 3 of us tried! He ran up the road into another close then 10mins later came charging back down past me heading home.

This morning taking Katy out I saw him in the lane again. We continued on our walk & when I looked round he was behind us! He had crossed the main road through our village! The limit is 30mph but they come through at 60mph. I manage to usher him back across & he headed home.
Still fuming after our walk I went up & banged on their door, explained where I saw him last week & today. He said but I walked him this morning, standing there in his dressing gown! Hmm don't think so!
I politely informed him, if I see him loose again in a dangerous situation I WILL report him angry
These people don't deserve a dog angry
Rant over!

What is wrong with people?? My worst fear is misty being stolen or hurt. Why on earth would you be ok with your dog running loose around the streets.

Some people get me so angry. He's very lucky that the dog hadn't been taken or hurt but it might not always be the case.

I suppose he's one of those open-the-door-first-thing-in-the-morning-and-let-the-dog-exercise-itself type of person!  angry

Cute puppy bought for kids.
Lost interest after a few weeks.
Puppy grows up and needs time and attention family doesn’t want to give Rolling Eyes
