As a general rule it's 5 minutes per month of age (at each walk) on hard ground such as pavements and as much free play as they want on soft ground such as grass & sand, as long as they're allowed to rest whenever they need to. However, you may need to step in if they're playing with another dog as they rarely seem to know when to stop!

At about 15-18 months they dan usually take full exercise without problem.

Hi, is not it better to take it out until it gets tired? So later at home they are calmer. Regards

Not with a young dog, no. Their bones, ligaments & muscles can be damaged through excessive exercising.

Yours is 8 months?

That should be 40 minutes on lead/pavement/concrete etc walking (so 20 minutes each way) and some free play on softer ground (grass, sand etc).
