Just wondering what you all consider as high value treats for training ?
What do you use and recommend ?

When I take my girls to canine club, I have small pieces of cheese, favourites being Comte or Gruyere or Emmental if you please ! I also have Wellness core protein bites to vary a little.

Wooo just showing off now with your lovely cheeses Laughing Katy usually gets boring ol cheddar! For high value treats in training I use cocktail sausages in very small quantities as not really good for them but she will do anything to get them Smile Love Struck

It depends on the dog, really. High value is whatever an individual finds irresistable and that's not the same for every one. Bobbert used to go doolally for dried sprats (which stink) whereas Millie won't touch them. Her highest value treat is a toy, she'll do anything for her whistly ball.

And Nola doesn't actually register what she's eating, but then she's half labrador!

I suppose my girls have expensive tastes in cheese Laughing

Cocktail sausages are those in cans, right ?
I did think about frankfurters but they’re pretty undigest until cooked ...

Oh, and Nola rolling on the floor

Your girls have a great choice in cheeses, I'm jealous that they get it Smile No cocktail sausages are sold ready cooked over here in packs in the chiller sections. Frankfurters should work just as good providing your girls like them Smile
