funny/confusing
This isn't a naughty behaviour post or one that I am alarmed by but just a little perplexed
Whenever I leave for work and hank is going to be on his own for a few hours before my OH gets in,
I will leave a empty plastic bottle on top of hanks crate for him to play with while he is on his own, I put it on top as he like the challenge of trying to get it off, even though its a lot easier now he's bigger, anyway.
My OH will usually get in around lunch time so he has been on his own for approx. 4 hours.
he doesn't retrieve and play with the bottle while he is on his own and he doesn't retrieve and play with the bottle when I my OH comes in, but when I get in from work at about 6pm he greets me as usual and crazy like I've been gone for days haha.. THEN he gets the bottle and plays with it. Every time. why does he do it when only I get home? I don't have a problem with this obviously it just makes us all laugh and wondered if there was any meaning behind it

Awww, how sweet of Hank. What a clever boy !
But it sounds as if he associates the bottle wth you and with play time.
