hi any recommendations for waterproof coats - Buddy is so little and squat I just cant get one that fits - they are either too long and cover his tail .which is a mess when he poops.. or they are the right length but don't do up across his chest . He hates coats but hates the rain more- he gets quite hot so ideally I wanted a light weight one or a slightly padded one ..any ideas

You can get hi-viz shower proof coats - I know they'll still be too long, but they're quite easy to alter!

The only ones that fit and suit Nifty are the equafleece dog tankies (in bullie cut, if you please) Big Grin
Might be a little warmer than you’re looking for, maybe ?

hi I will have a look at the Equafleece ones - might be ok for the cold wet days to come thanks - just need to measure him properly - but he decided to chew the tape measure to "help" hold it last night Smile

The equafleece is the only jacket I've ever found that fits her properly. Would definitely recommend.

Yes we have an Equal Fleece coat for Misty and it fits perfectly. The best thing is it connects across the chest and under the tummy so doesn't go over her head at all. We have had it two years and it's still perfect condition. Keeps her dry and warm, it was about fifty pounds if I remember correctly but definitely worth it.
