I put Katy on wainwrights as a pup & she's still on it now. Don't think it has does her badly Love Struck The only downside is you can only get it from PAH as it's their own brand.

Whatever you have decided to give, please don’t forget to transition progressively from the feed she had where you bought her from, to your new feed. I gradually introduced it over a week or so.

Otherwise you’ll have pup with very upset tummy and most probably the runs.

AVA wouldn't be my first choice, far too much rice & maize, not enough meat.

It's by no means the worst, though.

RAW diet is the best food. nothing else really compares

Orijen is probably one of the best kibbles, but is very expensive. the ingredients are wonderful but once theyre all cooked into the kibble most of the nutrients are killed anyway so it doesnt matter. thats why they need to add added vitamins/minerals.

but nothing comes close to a raw diet, what dogs are designed to eat Smile

Raw is fine but it's not for every owner or every dog. It does need more planning, freezer space and a strong stomach (I fed raw for years and I'm a veggie!).

There are some good kibbles out there now. This is a great site that give you loads of information on nutritional value, price, etc. My advice is always to feed the best quality you can depending on your budget and what is available to you.

https://www.allaboutdogfood.co.uk/the-dog-food-directory

I feed a mix of raw and Millies Wolfheart. I'd feed either on their own but Millie won't eat it! (And before anyone says I shouldn't allow my dog to be a fussy eater, why would I want to force her to eat something she's not happy with when I can give her something she is?).

If you want to try raw, then research it and get your head round it first. There are various different opinion and you'll find very determined opinions in all camps. If, as you asked, you want a kibble recommendation, I'd certain recommend Millies. Also it's not over priced and is delivered:

Many of their range of adult foods are also suitable for puppies.

I fed and feed Orijen, big thumbs up from me.
As to the price, it is more expensive but I find I fed less than the “more popular” puppy kibble the breeder was giving.

Yes, raw is good (as long as you either feed one of the better pre-mixed, or research thoroughly & get your own meaty bones & offal), but not everyone wants to do it.

As to kibble, Millies IS very good, but you can't get it in the pet stores, you have to order online. Otherwise, Taste of the Wild or Orijen are good.

But it depends on your price range.
