Puppy harness recommendations
Would anyone be able to recommend a suitable harness that I can use when Betty is able to go out walking?
Also, any tips on stopping her biting the lead? (We've been practicing in the garden and so far the lead is a really fun chew/ pull toy!)

When I took Marley for his first walk I bought a adjustable harness, fabric feel to stop the rubbing underneath his arms, it came with a seat belt too for the car got I from pets at home and it was brilliant he was in it till He was about 5 months old

Thanks Emma!
I've had a look at Pets at Home - so many to choose from. Can you remember the name of the harness?

Re: Puppy harness recommendations
We typically use a non pull adjustable harness as well as a collar. For the lead biting have you tried bitter apple yet?

Re: Puppy harness recommendations
Thanks! I'm going to get an Ezydog harness ready for Betty's first walk. Just trying to measure her and is happily chewing the tape measure now!
Out of interest, how do non pull harnesses stop pulling?

Re: Puppy harness recommendations
I got Marley a small and adjusted it as he grew and it lasted him till he was 5 months, the pull harness is designed for dogs who pull so instead of the straps being under the arms it's on the belly and across the chest so they don't hurt themselves you got their feet in thru the gaps, mine clips together on the back and has 2 latches for the lead it also has padding on the chest and belly area for extra protection I got that with a halts training lead it's thick and has lots of uses, only use that when I'm local to use my long line everywhere else

Marley looks a lot taller than Buddy - Buddy is more stocky with little legs ....can still reach all the places he shouldn't though ...
