pedigree puppy change over?
so I get my new puppy in 2 weeks, I plan on feeding her wainwrights dry....at the moment she is being fed pedigree vital puppy, no I know this is not that good a food so want to change her over as quick as possible, but ineed advice on how to do this without upsetting her tummy to much, do I slowly mix the dry with the pedigree until shes just on the dry, or am best maybe putting on wainwrights wet first then introduced to dry...like I said just want her off the pedigree as son as possible...thanks

Re: pedigree puppy change over?
Ooh, exciting times !
When I switched over feeds, I started off with 90% current food and 10% new food on the first day, 80/20 on the second day, and so on until I was on 100% new feed.
I also gave a little probiotics (feelwell puppy treat) which certainly didn’t do any damage.
Good luck and looking forwards to photos

Re: pedigree puppy change over?
Don't change straight away, allow your pup to settle for a couple of weeks & then gradually introduce the new food - again, over a couple of weeks.
It's a stressful time for a pup & you don't want to add to that stress as soon as you get him home!
