Slow feeders
Nifty is one of those who can eat her kibble meal in 10 seconds flat.
In my quest to get her to slow down, here’s our tried and tested so far
Slow feeding bowls
We have tried 2 models
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sankill-Slow-Feeder-Bloat-Puzzle/dp/B06XKL2S8Z/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1514197399&sr=8-1&keywords=Sankill+fun+feeder
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Slow-Feeder-Dog-Bowl-Interactive/dp/B06Y4ND4LX/ref=sr_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1514197450&sr=8-1-spell&keywords=Sloz+feed+dog+bowl
The second slows her down better than the first, though both are quite efficient. The first is easier to use when you add aditives to kibble (egg, sardine, etc) and the first is definitely easier to hand clean.
Both have and continue to be successful in her feeding times

Pipolino feeding toy
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pipolino-Feeding-Toy-Large-Black/dp/B00B321CYM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1514197772&sr=8-2&keywords=Pipolino
Put kibble inside and you, have the choice of 16 distribution positions : 1 to 8 holes and either half size or full size.
The idea is that the toy rolls and kibble falls from the hole(s)
Nifty had tried to chew hers at first but then quickly understood the concept.
Effective during meal times but last few kibble are hard to get (I have mine on one half opening available)
Warning - a pain to wash manually (no dishwasher here) so need to be armed with dish brush and plenty of rinsing washing up liquid.

Re: Slow feeders
Busy buddy kibble nibble
https://www.amazon.co.uk/PetSafe-Busy-Buddy-Kibble-Nibble/dp/B005BOMPWG/ref=sr_1_61?ie=UTF8&qid=1514198390&sr=8-61&keywords=dog%2Btoy%2Bfeeder&th=1
A recent addition here, kept Nifty occupied a good half hour during first use ! Kibble falls out of both ends of egg shape so dog either has to roll upright or use the Nifty technique - spin it to get kibble out by centrifugal force
Very easy to clean by hand as unscrew into 2 halves.
Watch out during use, can unscrew so keep an eye. Also a bit of hassle cutting the flaps in the extremities to let kibble pass as no turning back once it’s cut.
A nice addition

Kong gyro
https://www.amazon.co.uk/KONG-PGY1-Gyro-Large/dp/B01GP4826S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1514198959&sr=8-1&keywords=kong+gyro
New under the christmas tree so on first use.
Easy to fill with kibble. Nifty proceeded in rolling it with her nosy to make kibble fall.
Again easy to clean, unscrew.
Need a bit more time but happy with first impression.
