Keeping the contact ?

Post by Nifty staffy on Tue Oct 03 2017, 21:01

Are you still in contact with the place where you acquired your canine friend ?

I sent a message + photos to Nifty’s breeder and she phoned me last night.
She’s expecting another litter in a week’s time and the mum to be is a full sister to Nifty.
I also keep contact with my horses‘ breeders - I think it’s nice to stay on good terms (where applicable)

Nola - no. She came from the Hearing Dogs Association. I think we emailed to say she'd settled ok and that's all.

Chaos - absolutely not. He came from a 'rescue centre' that I now wouldn't touch with a bargepole.

Millie - yes. She's from Danaher, where I go every week. We go back for events and she loves to say hello to everyone, especially a few staff she remembers.

Definitely not!
I tried for weeks to get them to send me his chip information and I've still heard nothing!

In my opinion anyone who gets their dog out of a car, hands you the lead and gets back in the car and goes is not someone being responsible for their dog!

We're glad we rescued him and can give him what he needs even if he is a little sod!

Hell No!! Katy was taken from her mum at 5wks old, the 'breeder' from Sheffield then gave her to his niece in Hastings with a 2yr old kid that slapped her & advertised her after a week. Doesn't deserve to know how well & loved she is Love Struck Love Struck

We didn't but I get regular news letters from Battersea and donate. They do a reunion once a year (I think) and we have thought about going but haven't actually got round to attending
