Unable to post photos

Ugh ... I've tried again and again to follow the tutorials here but cannot post any photo, other than my avatar.
Have put some photos onto Servimg but link to post photos in post goes to my PC and photos never find their way here.
Anyone figure out where I'm going wrong ?
