Newbie to the Site - Hello All
Hey Everyone
Well like everyone here i own an adorable Staffy, who i love more than life. My Staffy is 2 years old now, and so loving, and cute. I have a question about staffies ears. When he was 6 months old, his left ear decided to flop inwards over his head, he looked so cute, and on his routine vet appointment they said it was due to the teething process, well now he is 2 and his left ear still sticks up and inwards, but not touching his head like it used to His right ear is the perfect rose bud shape. Whilst i dont really care as i love him no matter what his ears look like, just wondered if anyone else had the same thing, and what they did about it if anything. I have read that its due to excess cartilage. I would post a photo of him, but not sure how, any ideas guys/girls?

Re: Newbie to the Site - Hello All
Staffie ears can do all sorts of weird and wonderful things. More wonderful than weird, of course! We get them in our rescue with ears pointing (or not) in just about every direction. I personally think it's really sweet.
Millie had one ear that did its own thing when she was little, it still does sometimes but mostly it matches it's other half. I would never interfere with the way a dog's ears grow unless there's a medical reason. As long as they function properly and don't have any issues, don't worry about it!
