Hmmm I wonder

Reports of dogs out of control being shot in Manchester, oddly no mention of Staffies... Or any other breed which probably means there weren't any Staffies involved as the press only seem to be able to identify the Stafford

Sky news are saying they were "pit bull types" so no idea what they were. Makes you wonder what their agenda is at the moment

They're saying 'muscular build, with short hair' which is a pretty poor description. As far as the media are concerned ''Pitbull'' seems to cover absolutely any dog with a fat head that isn't a purebred pedigree.

Be a lot more helpful if the description gave the dog's colour, then your brain would automatically discount other colours and you'd be a damned sight less likely to approach the wrong dog.

Which is more helpful if you're trying to narrow down a dog ''pitbull type'' or ''big orange dog''?

Just seen this, of course the media is saying pitbulls but a lot of people online are saying they were American bulldogs. I can't watch the footage as far too upsetting, poor dogs. Again they will pay for humans actions.

^that goes to prove my point. I'm not sure I'd be able to identify an American Bulldog over some of the Mastiff crosses.

Just seen the owner has been named. Looks like the poor dogs were just used for breeding. One was pregnant and another had just very very recently had puppies. They were kept in a shed in his garden. Now why on earth do humans blame the dogs. Feel so sorry for them.

That's barbaric. I just...what the %%%$& is wrong with these people? It makes me physically ill thinking about those poor dogs.

These poor dogs had no chance in life. It's all down to the owners, not the dogs. When will we have suitable punishment for animal cruelty?
