What a great forum

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone. This forum is amazing, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I've enjoyed reading info and other posts. Staffies have a bad rep up here so it's lovely to see a positive forum where everyone realises what a people loving breed Staffies are. Our new puppy isn't even home yet & I have had people saying I should re think my choice because I have kids. Both my boys are very respectful of dogs. Our jack Russell adores my son's & I know our wee staffy will too

I know what you mean about the forum it's been so helpful for me too. Ignore any comments being negative about Staffs and kids. Staffies are known as the Nanny dog and they love children.

I'm sure I will. I'm getting alot of, oh but don't you know Staffies are dog aggressive etc etc stereotypes so it will be lovely to have the forum

It is a pity they are missunderstood, and l have to admit several years ago l was guilty of the same misunderstanding of the breed. .....that was before my first staffy, who sadly has gone to the rainbow bridge, and out second staffie Duke, is just as adorable and loving as our first one was. I now love the breed.
We take him everywhere with us, and when meeting strangers they love the enthusiastic greeting they get, and are quite surprised sometimes when they ask what breed he is.

Duke is lovely. I can't wait for my puppy to come home. I pass on wherever I can what a loving breed they are
