Hello from Rebecca, Matthew and Tyson

Hi everyone,

I found your forum online this morning and wanted to join so that we can meet other Staffie owners and make use of all the great advice on here.

Matthew and I brought Tyson home from Battersea in May 2016 and it's safe to say he's taken over our lives :-). He's totally adorable and apart from the fact that he's so incredibly needy for human company 24 hours a day, he's the perfect dog!! Unfortunately he has a problem with his right elbow, which is preventing him from walking properly at the moment. We're taking him to the vets for x-rays tomorrow but we're really worried about the outcome. He's 9 and was really overweight when we got him. Cross fingers it can be resolved...

There is a lot that can be done for leg joints these days but it might be worth making sure your insurance is up to date. Do let us know what the vet suggests.

Hi and welcome from me and my crew of rescues. Well done on giving Tyson a home, older staffies often struggle to find them. He looks gorgeous!

Thanks everyone. Tyson has been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in both front legs :-(. Will post separately in the health issues area.
