Matthew and the RAF
Matthew has been waiting for a few months now (while job hunting) for the porition in the RAF he is interested in. Well he got the call today to say it is open so he has sent off his application. If he gets accepted he will go through basic training and then get a contract that will secure his job for 6 or 9 years. After that he can stay on or it will be great on his CV for a job back on civvy street. Fingers crossed cos an out of work 23 year old and a * off dad is making for misserable times the last lately

Re: Matthew and the RAF
Ahh Julie I have my fingers and toes crossed for you and your son.
Did you know that Ewan Macgregor's brother was in the RAF. He was a Tornado GR4 pilot.
I wish him all the best of luck, hope he gets in

Re: Matthew and the RAF
That was my dream for a long time(although USAF as RAF wouldn't take an uncivilized american ). Hope it all works out for him!
