Tracey T if you go to your profile section there is an Avatar bit, where you can upload your picture. On posts, look for the square photo symbol that has a little floppy disk on it.

Most people use Photobucket to post photos, the instructions are here:

You can also use other hosting sites, such a Flickr, copying the bbc code.

Sometimes this forum makes you wait for a few posts before allowing you to post photos, so it might be that you've hit. Don't ask me why, it just does it! Someone else may be able to enlighten you if that's the problem.
