Hi all! :)

Hello everyone,
We have recently picked up our 4 year old from a rescue home. She's absolutely brilliant.
They told us she was a stray. Seems really placid and so much happier now she is out of those noisy kennels.

Would anyone be able to guess at whether she is crossed and what with? We don't care either way but just interested!

We are so glad we didn't do down the designer pup route like we thought we would. We have definitely made the right choice in her. What a smashing dog.

Welcome from me Misty and me.

Wow what a beautiful girlie she is!! She's absolutely stunning, I don't think a designer pup could ever look as beautiful as she does! I love hearing about rescues.

I think (and I'm not great at guessing by any means) that she looks like my Misty and she is  Staffy x Boxer. She has the boxer colours and her ears are the same as Mistys.

Can't wait to see more pics x

Welcome to the forum from Tess and myself,and well done with the rescue.I am not sure what is termed as a designer dog,is that what a pedigree staff is classed as ?
Tess is a very well bred pedigree Staffordshire Bull Terrier that has been registered with the K.C.If that is what is termed as a designer dog so be it.
To be honest if that is the case,it is not a description that I like very much.Let's just carry on caring and loving the dog we have be it a staffy x or a pedigree without creating divisions between them.

I can only  talk about my  comment earlier when I replied mentioning  about the designer dogs. This wasn't in any way aimed at pure/pedigree staffs!  I was talking about the designer dogs that are being sold for hefty figures nowadays. I was just commentating that I thought Ruby was so beautiful and ( in my opinion) she's better looking then the breeds that are in fashion etc today and they had made the right choice in taking her.

I think all staffs and staff x are stunning and absolutely gorgeous!

I now understand what you mean and accept that.I was just curious at the meaning of designer dogs,and perhaps got my wires crossed.Sorry for any misunderstanding Emma.

No problems, I just wanted to clarify what I meant. Even reading back my own comment I could see it was a bit ambiguous and just because I know what I meant didn't mean I had written it clearly!
