Re: Nipping :/
There's no 'quick fix' I'm afraid.
The two best ways I've found are;
1. Yelping & turning away as soon as she nips. No interraction at all until she stops, then quiet praise,
2. A long, deep, drawn out "No!" & turning away as soon as she nips. No interraction at all until she stops, then quiet praise.
If necessary remove her from the room, or walk out yourself if she keeps on. It's surprising how quickly they catch on, although I doubt she'll get it fully by the weekend!
I can't see any harm with the dogs visiting, but keep an eye on the play; remember she's still very young & will be easily squashed!

Re: Nipping :/
Caryll gave excellent advice. Suki still nips when she wants to play with us. I yelp trying my best to sound like a dog and turn around and ignore her. I would encourage you to have your pup begin socializing as early as possible but keep a close watch on her. You should try to get her around as many different breeds as possible. The same thing with people big, small, fat, handicapped, young, old so she is used to it. The older dogs will let her know if she is out of line. If you get uncomfortable seperate the dogs for 5 minutes or so and make her stay and be quiet before letting her play again. It helps if you will play with her before the dogs arrive so she isn't full of energy.
