What an insane world we live in.....

They should put a needle in the veins of these crack pot politicians who have more then likely never owned a pet....

Really gets to me all this BSL and stuff, most of these babies are pets, peoples family pets arghhhh ... Got to leave this cos it brings tears to my eyes even the thought, some of the comments on there make me sob...

Why oh why should people have to worry about this when they have well behaved family pets that look a certain way.... Barbaric if you ask me

I know that, but that's what they're heading towards! They want a bill passed to destroy all the seized dogs presently in kennels so that it'll save them money. How heartless is that?

I cant see a bill like that being passed if it does they would be up roar.

I would happily stand in London in ALL weather for as long as it took to stop this bill being passed........... This country is worse then China at times, it really is

No, I don't think it could be passed. But any government who thinks about doing something like that is morally bankrupt & that's what worries me.

I HATE this government with venom... They are letting EVERYBODY down. The students... sick... disabled... Taxpayers.... old folks.... even our bloody pets... It's bad

It's disgraceful! I left comment and linked it to my facebook! The angry dog lover in me says "Why don't we put the government down and lock up all the offending owners, that would solve the problem!" The level headed psychotherapist in me says "Where is the petition for this so everyone can sign it before this BSL bill is passed???"

this wont get passed no1 can going around killing dog till the court order it to be put down, just silly people saying stuff without thinking.

It will take one party to get 51% of the votes to get the Tory's out now on the next general election. Even though we lost confidence in Labour it certainly is the lesser of 2 evils, I know where my vote is going when it matters the most, this country is a sinking ship now they are in power. All they do is lie to us and covertly do what they originally planned. Billions of our taxes have gone to bail out other EU countries when our own country is in debt, meanwhile they are selling us out, selling off our precious NHS and other resources behind our backs, my best friend is doing a politics/sociology degree so I know what is happening while the general public are being blinded with lies and promises. They have no intention of listening or acting to what the public needs, they have a completely different agenda.

This is extremely disturbing, I can not believe they would even consider this, its barbaric, its inhuman, these dogs have more heart and soul than these people do and yet the dogs and the families are being punished,punished for what falling inlove with amazing dogs,wanting company, wanting protection from all the sickoes, who are mostly to blame for raising the risk because their training/abusing dogs using dogs as weapons, those are ones who should be getting the leathal injection not a slap on the wrist or 3 week "community" service or a 50 pound fine, these are souls they are talking about culling.

If the punishment was higher when it comes to these sickoes, maybe other sickoes in the making will think twice.

Still Steve, with the way this government is working right now, there is still a small chance it could be passed. That's what worries me. They haven't exactly been forthright so far and they have no intention on doing so.

Yes your right about that, but if those 2 people happen to be members of parliament, they will raise it in the house of commons for debate...Chances are it will get laughed out, but who knows?

I agree it will never get passed due to litigations but there has been talk of the ones with no owners in rescue to put them down and start afresh .
It doesnt bear thinking about poor things have no-one to fight for them
