Joint / Arthritis Supplements
Hello All
Ralphy had a TPLO op 2 years ago. Vet advised to use cosequin or seraquin as a joint supplement and that he would get arthritis, which I think is slowly developing. Cosequin appears to be working reasonably well. Just wondering if anyone has any better and/or cheaper suggestions. What are others using?
All suggestions welcome.
Thanks, Peta

We give my girl Nutraquin. I'm not really sure how effective it is though as she still gets stiff.

Thanks Ian. This is how I feel about the cosequin, not sure if its working but daren't stop it. He's only 4 but having had the tplo and a floating patella if he's had a mad day (am sure he thinks he's still a puppy) he is then stiff. Do you use pilchards or anything like that?

No we don't and really should but my OH won't entertain anything like that I'm sure the omega oils must help somewhat.
Green lipped muscle is also supposed to be good but as yet I haven't got any of it, apparently you can get it in capsule form so just pour it on their food
