Question about rabbits
Hi all,
So we have Bear who is 7 weeks and has not yet had his jabs (he's booked in to the vets next week for his first set)
We also moved to a new house 2 weeks ago. The previous owner had a rabbit who had free roam of the garden and only came in to the house occasionally. The house was scrubbed for him coming in to get rid of any confusing smells but I wondered if there is anything the rabbit could have carried through the garden that could be hazardous to Bear?
The patio slabs have also been sprayed down with diluted Jeyes Garden Fluid to disinfect them.
Am I being overly cautious keeping him indoors? Is it safe to let him out just for a pee? Or should I just hold off until he's had all his jabs? (5 weeks seems like a long time to run around cleaning up his mess if he could be outside already!)

Re: Question about rabbits
I'm not a Rabbit keeper but I do know some on here are and don't think that Rabbits carry anything that could be harmful to Bear before he has his second jabs.
I think it's interaction with other dogs that would be problematic if they had something.

Re: Question about rabbits
I have rabbits and can't think of anything that could harm a dog. You should be fine.
