Dogs & Rabbits
Hi Guys
I haven't posted for a while but I have been checking the threads regularly. Anyway I had to share this picture with you It's of Teddy (11yrs), Bella (5yrs) and Roxy(2yrs).
Roxy (the rabbit) stayed up there for a good hour or so. She is half a house rabbit in as much as she get on with the dogs - so when we know the cat is out she's allowed out around the house. Although to be fair she so bold even the cat is scarred of her lol.

Re: Dogs & Rabbits
Great so when people ask if a staffy can get along with a rabbit we don't reply "possibly" we reply "depends how big the couch is"

T
Same here, i dont think marley would be able to help himself. Hes only dog in the park to catch a squirrel whilst on lead (a flexi) so he would think all his christmases had come at once if he saw that the lil git.

Funny thing is both of mine go nuts for squirrels in the park and Bella in particular has caught her fair share of rats in the past (not to mention the ocassional pheasant) but for some reason they have just accepted that the Rabbit is part of their pack. It took a bit of managing for the first few months but once they realised what we expected they've been as good as gold. It a funny sight as the Roxy even lays with her back legs out like a Staffie (not sure if all rabbits do or not but it sure looks funny when you see all three of them doing it).

Lovely!! Rolo struggles not to charge at our rabbits in the garden... we tried to convince him they weren't dinner but... "the force is too strong".... Our bunnies take no notice of him but he still likes to try and get their attention occasionaly

I'm not quite brave enough to introduce Rocky to my Dads rabbit called Buggsy. I'm quite sure there would be fur flying though, of the rabbit variety

That's funny our Staffie Bitch is called Bella but we call her Belle all the time and she's the one that is the most into the Rabbits and almost mothers them at times lol
Sorry to hear your rabbit passed away - are you thinking of getting another for Bellle.

lol quite agree!! We look after my Mums Staffie most afternoons and he is getting there with the Rabbits - he sniffs their hutch and has stopped trying to get at them but I wouldn't trust him if they were out and about.

Love the pic, I know of a rabbit that was a house rabbit that has been kind of dumped due to owner becomin pregnant> She has put him outside in a hutch. Said would take him on if dogs were ok, looks like dogs great with rabbits.
