Hi to everyone, and I would have loved to have found this forum sooner We have owned a Staffordshire Bull Terrier for the last 11 years and we had him from 8 weeks old. Unfortunately he has recently passed away due to a nasal tumour. He was the best dog ever, loyal loving and full of energy. Although he has brought a great deal of sadness recently to our family and has left a massive hole in our hearts. The last 11 years have been amazing and we were very lucky to have owned Diesel.
What an amazing breed Staffordshire Bull Terriers are and we look forward to providing another loving home to another Staff in the future.

So sorry to read of your sad news Nick, Staffies are very unique aren't they and when they leave us they do leave a huge hole in our lives.

Shame you didn't find us sooner, we would have loved to hear of your escapades with Diesel but would still value your input being a seasoned Staffy owner.

I really feel your pain with regards to your loss. I lost my gorgeous boy to a nasal tumour last year (a year on Sunday we had him pts). It's still so raw!

Thanks everyone for your kind words. Staffies are indeed a wonderful breed. Full of character and mischief . Loved owning one for the last 11 years, and I have a feeling it wont be long until I am lucky to own another one. Love all of your pics x

I am so very sorry for your loss. I would love to hear diesel's story and how he came into your life, how he changed it, how you ended up with a staffy and what his personality was like.

They are more than dogs, really, Staffies . On another level

Diesel came into our life at 8 weeks old. We first saw him at 6 weeks he was pulling onn a sock against his brothers and sisters and he was winning lol. We fell in love with him immediately :-). Over the years he changed from puppy who was full of mischief into a very loyal and loving dog. He was scared of cats !! he ran away from them infact one day one chased him down the road but he dislked
any dog with curly hair especially poodles.He was scared of fireworks and any loud banging noise but we loved him just the way he was. He had problems with his skin from being a pup and was allergic to the grass. The day we found out he had a nasal tumour it felt like the world had stopped. He was only given a short time to live but he managed another 7 happy months. Unfortunately 2 weeks ago we woke up at 4 am to find he was having a huge nosebleed. He looked at us and we knew the time was right. We had allways promised him that he would not suffer and he didnt. We know he is at peace now and we know he is still with us in spirit. The only thing I would urge others to do is not be selfish and when the time is right for yours let them go whilst they are happy and you are in control. Love to all you Staffie owners they are a great breed and can give you so much in return xx
