Well, the standard was drawn up just before he became the 1st champion, so yes, I suppose so. But that doesn't mean other types are not!

no i know just interested, my friends staffy is jet black and 12 half " at 4 years and she looks good all in proportion ect but hed never be able to show her cus shes too small, my missis always wanted a smaller one but ive always like the top size of the stafford bulked up with a good stance it looks perfect even my other mate got a male which stands at 17.5" same as gentleman jim but thicker set and he looks the buisness all over with no health probs he looks like a true stafford in my opinion
