I have a question for the long term experienced staffy owners.

I have noticed my pup who is 5 months old is super friendly to just about everything. Will she always be that way? Or are they able to distinguish/sense a threat to themselves and their owners and become protective?

They tend to become bolder and will learn what seems to be a threat and what isn't. It can be quiet amusing seeing them skirt around a plastic carrier bag blowing in the wind.

Whilst they are very loyal and loving they don't tend to show over protectiveness unless taught to be, however, I wouldn't really know if I was being threatened what my Flo would do.

Friendly is definitely something I would encourage though Smile
