Moving back to Ukraine
Hey there. As you guys probably know i found little Horda been threw out the window and rescued her. It's time for me to go back to Ukraine on the plane soon and i want to ask you if i have to have any documents that this is my dog and if so how/where to get those. I've called the airline already and they said i can carry her with me in a crate if it's under 9 kilograms i just need the paperwork from vet that she had her vaccines and approved to flight. So the question again if i need something else, like maybe papers you receive when you actually buy the dog or smth like that
Thanks for any replies

Under 9 kilos will include the crate and dog, not just the crate. She will need to go in the hold.

Re: Moving back to Ukraine
You can probably find other stuff, but just googling 'transporting dog from us to ukraine' came up with:
http://www.pettravel.com/immigration/ukraine.cfm
http://www.flyuia.com/eng/information-and-services/before-you-fly/pets.html
The 2nd link gives you details about taking your pet in the aircraft cabin. It might be worth checking if you can get a really light carrier to get Horda under the 8kg mark.

Yes, in cabin. Horda been really calm during the flight, but kinda nervous in airports and before/after takeoff. We're now at my home, she's eating organic meat, rice, pourige etc, and finally started gaining weight, i can't see ribs no more But still mad about food, i have to keep her tight in my hands in the other side of the building while somebody is eating cause she's just crazy when smell food.LizP wrote:Is he going in the cabin with you?

Re: Moving back to Ukraine
I'm so pleased you're back home safely and that Horda's settling in. I know dogs can't think like us but if she could she'd be amazed at her life so far - from being thrown out of a car to being taken in by you to this wonderful new place. What a journey for a little one!
Keep popping in with updates and pictures!
