Iritable bowel
Poor lexi is not well at all. Had a loose bum for a week or so and nothing seemed to stop it, lost a bit of weight and then started vomitting. Vet has said they think it could be irritable bowel cause her tummy felt a bit bloated and she tends to has a lot of gas. Im wondering if its related to the Wainwrights! Anywhoo shes on boiled rice and chicken for a few days, has got an antisickness jab and some probiotic and antibiotics.

poor lexii could be something in the wainwrights ie chicken or could be the rice I sometimes give mia.natures menu country hunters range she hasnt had any problems. maybe start eliminating each ingredient lexii is given to see where the problems lies.

Re: Iritable bowel
Lexi doing better lately on just chicken and rice. I don't think it was the wainwrights cause she was still poorly on another food we tried for a few days and is still a bit loose now but definitely not AS loose and no sickness either.
I heard that there is a bug going around dogs in my area at the moment so shes maybe just picked up something..v strange
Shes a lot brighter in herself though, but the chicken and rice is not good for her weight and i think shes dropped a bit.

Re: Iritable bowel
Still on chicken and rice, her poos are now a sort of moosey consistency. I'm worried about her getting little to no nutrition so ive added a boiled egg to her meals now. Vet has given us until Tuesday to "firm" or we have to go back . She has not vomited at all though and no accidents in the house.
