What is the most embarrassing thing your dog has ever done?
So... I fell in a river today. Not entirely Bug's fault, but she definitely played a part! Running around doing zoomies, she has a tendency to run at my legs and divert at the last minute... Though has on occasion knocked me completely off my feet. Today I decided to move in advance, lost my footing and ended up soaked in muddy river water.. mud all over my face and in my hair. Walk of shame back to the car.. a couple hiking past simply said "oh" when they saw me

The most embarrassing thing she has done is pee in PAH as a 3yr old

So not one of the staffies, but the most embarassing thing from one of our dogs was a few years back with Mungo, a golden retriever. We were in France at the beginning of a holiday. We used to go from time to time and stay overnight in a little hotel at a place called Bleriot Plage just outside Calais. It's very dog friendly and right near the beach.
We arrived with just time for a quick beach walk, then time for dinner in the hotel's restaurant. Mung had a great time on the beach with his pink squeaky hedgehog.
Sitting down for dinner, we noticed a funny smell in the restaurant. Being polite, we didn't say anything. After a couple of minutes, the people at the table next to us moved away. People at another table were giving us funny looks. It then dawned on us - Mung (lying under the table) had rolled in something on the beach! He stank, but absolutely stank!!! We found the 'something' the next morning, a putrifying seagull.
Needless to say, we skipped dinner that evening, too busy trying to wash the pong off a very hairy dog.

Back when Gizmo was a puppy, my Dad was giving us a lift to the park when Gizmo did a fart so horrifically stinky my Dad nearly crashed the car in shock.

He once nicked one of my bras and ran out of the flat with it. I chased him up the stairs and eventually caught him strutting past one of the neighbours on the 3rd floor.

Well Rio likes to greet strangers by intently sniffing their crotches
And my poor lovely retired neighbour had the misfortune to be stared at by Rio whilst he was squatting in our back garden, doing his business with his johnson out on show, not sure she knew where to look bless her!

On one of Gizmo's first leaded walks along the street he encountered those movement-sensitive security lights. It did not go well. He stood there barking at the house. As soon as we stopped the light turned off and he calmed down. We started moving. The light switched on again, and his barking commenced. Eventually the owners came out of the house because he refused to move until the light was turned off and he kept on barking.
I didn't go up that road for about 3 months.

Everytime I think Gizmo's hit rockbottom in terms of embarrassing behaviour, he does something even more mortifying.

Re: What is the most embarrassing thing your dog has ever done?
The other day Harley had been wallowing in mud down the field and he was stinking, a man and his daughter approached us and went to stroke Harley and I warned them twice he might jump and hes filthy but they did anyway and got mud all over them. The man then looked at me as if to say... your dogs just covered me in mud like he was surprised. Then he turned to his daughter and said come on lets get cleared up hahaha.

Re: What is the most embarrassing thing your dog has ever done?
When Nitas was on a long lead at the park, a little girl of about 6 and her Mum were walking by with their pooch. The girl got a little too close and I shouted over to her 'Be careful of the...........lead'. Inbetween the and lead, Nita decided to run back towards me and with the girl in between us, the lead caught her and knocked her off her feet. Thankfully it was on grass and she started laughing but I was apologising profusely to her and her Mum.

Once when I was walking through a local park there were 2 teams of adults having a wellington boot throwing contest.I think they were from a local company, doing one of those "team building" exercises. Well naturally Dodger thought, "great they must be throwing that for me"! It was a long time before they got that boot back, it was hilarious seeing all of them running round the field, Dodge had a great time, I could've died!

Last year, I was showing an old lady a vid of the guys running as she is into agility with her two and marley cocked his leg on her leg and let forth a stream...no a torrent of pee on her leg. as it was warm she didn't realize at first and I didn't realize until she started whooping and trying to move away... even though i felt bad I had to stifle the laughter at the time... its a standing joke in the park now days

I took Suki out for a run in the rain once. She saw a cat that I didn't notice and took off after it which caught me off guard so I slipped in the mud and landed on a metal railing. Ended up with bruised ribs and a cut over my eye. I had to go to work the next day and explain that my dog beat me up

Gizmo decided that the crowded train was the best place to give his bits a thorough, and very audible, cleaning. He absolutely went to town on himself and was a bit indignant when I interrupted him so we could leave the train.

HA HA HA! These are hilarious!!
Dizzy once decided he was desperate for a No.2 whilst we were in Pets at Home and it stank half the shop out... I was mortified!!
Offered to clear it up but the staff were brilliant and said it wasn't a problem. It was me, and not Dizzy, that left with my tail between my legs... and a very red face

Had to wait 20 minutes for a train to the park this morning. In retaliation Gizmo decided to leg it the length of the park and stroll into the cafe and beg for food.
